About the Author
Lisa Kirkman is the President of The Kirkman Co., Inc., a promotional products advertising company which she founded in 1988 at age 26. She is also a professional musician and award winning glass artist. Her motto is, "Live as if you will die tomorrow. Learn as if you will live forever. And, don't think about doing something someday when today is that day!"
The idea for this book was based upon one sentence which she found intriguing. Astounding, actually. What an odd sentence to read from one of the most read books of all time. It was a sentence that made her ask, "Wait! What happened next!?" And, "Why hasn't there been a novel written to offer an answer to that 2000 year old question?"...Well, now there is one! It's called MEETING AT MATTHEW STREET.
The book is replete with actual historical events which are woven throughout the story line. Due to the suspenseful nature of the book, beta readers found it difficult to put down because they wanted to find out what would happen next!
